Joe's Coffee

Okay, this place actually managed to be smaller than 192 Books.

There really isn't anything you aren't seeing in this picture.
Joe's Coffee is a tiny coffee shop tucked away in a corner of Grand Central Terminal. By tucked away in a corner, I mean it was surprisingly difficult to find! After wandering around aimlessly for a while, I had to go ask at the information desk for where the coffee shop was! It lays hidden in one of the back hallways of GCT, right next to Graybar. I was absolutely astonished by how minuscule the place was! I noticed that there were no tables or chairs to sit on while enjoying your coffee.

The lines were long, but moved surprisingly fast. The employees were all friendly, although none seemed eager to engage in a conversation. If I were to assume why, it's probably because they know that everyone in line is waiting for their train. It's the same reason there aren't any tables or chairs in the shop. No one is stopping for a leisurely drink (except for my girlfriend and I), and there was a general sense of a more rushed pace in the environment.

When I ordered, it was a quick and streamlined process. Within minutes, I had a nice chai to sip. My girlfriend ordered a cappuccino, which was finished with a small heart made of cream on top.

Isn't it so cute?
